Why did you become a doctor?
To improve the reproductive health of girls and women so that they may pursue life, career, and education unencumbered by pain and suffering.
What do you like about providing care to teens/kids?
Kids are just plain loads of fun – they make me laugh and they never cease to amaze me! Teenagers are wonderful to provide care for because they put up this “wall” and I think it is great fun to find ways to connect with them so that they end up enjoying our relationship.
What is the best part of your job?
Watching a girl or young women grow into herself, truly knowing who she is, what she stands for, and what she wants out of life. Simply beautiful to see.
How are you involved in medical education?
Resident and medical student education, training, and mentorship. Developing future leaders in Fertility Preservation.

You are one year late – I knew I wanted to be an OB-GYN at age 9!

Dancing
